Yea! they are using on these guitars but I think it looks very nice. I took it home and didn't play it again for a couple of days. They also double boxed it and added some cardboard between the boxes for extra padding. It gives it a sort of two tone look with the lighter non-veneered bevels contrasting with the veneered top and back. The Probuckers sound pretty good in this guitar but I think they sound a bit better in my Les Paul though I haven't taken the time to adjust the pickup height or pole pieces yet.
